RBR50/RBS50 Firmware 2.5.1.16 Update

Latest firmware v2.5.1.16 on RBK53 in AP mode.  No new surprises yet.  Everything seems to be in order and working.  If you took the plunge, please share your experiences.

Everything reconnected just fine so just given it the typical time for some of my devices to reconnect to strongest device.

 

Orbi is still by far the best router I've used. Sorry others have had issues.

do you have your satellites on different channels

I do not know the best practices for that

    When the Orbi selects channels for 2.4G and 5G WiFi, every Orbi device uses the same channels.  So, if the configuration is "Auto" and the Orbi has selected channel 4 for 2.4G, then all devices use channel 4.  If the user manually selected a channel, then every device uses that channel.

     

    This is the design.

        With the Orbi, they cannot be on different channels.  It is an interesting theoretical question, but I am not nearly competent to pose a response.
