We've Enhanced Your Product's Security.
Please Update to the Latest Firmware.
But when I check for updates from app it shows no new firmware is available.
I am on V2.5.2.4 not sure if I am missing any important updates in UK.
Regards

Be sure to make a back up configuration to file for safe keeping on the RBR. Helps save time if a reset is needed.
Please mark your thread as solved so others will know.
Enjoy.

1. forget the app. IF you must check, try via PC login
2. IF it were related to an actual security vulnerability then NG would auto push it. No action required.
3. IF you want to upgrade the choice is yours with caution as always since these firmware release are known to have bugs

Re: RBR50 firmware update
Next version after v4 is v40:
It's one that may have not been put up on the auto update servers so it may not appear as a notification on the RBRs web page.
v104 is also available. it's on the auto update server however you'd have to manually update to v40 I believe first to see v104. Or you can manually download and manually update to v104 directly with a wired PC and web browser:
Or you can keep what you have loaded as well. Up to you though.

Proceed with caution and ask yourself why this may not appear as a notification on the RBRs web page and WHY users in here keep posting stuff like this???

Re: RBR50 firmware update
After installing the latest firmware I can no longer login to the router. It will not accept my passords or the answers to my security questions.

Re: RBR50 firmware update
Strongly advise to use the web interface of the RBR50 instead of the smartphone app if you proceed.

Re: RBR50 firmware update
The firmware update was successful since my WiFi network is up and running after applying it using the updated Orbi iPhone app. I just cannot login using the correct password, serial number and secuity question answers.

Re: RBR50 firmware update
Wire connect a PC to the router and factory reset the router using the back push pin button. Hold it in for 15 seconds then let go. Power OFF the ISP modem for 30 seconds than back on. Wait for the WHITE led to slowly pulsate on top of the RBR, then log in to orbilogin.com using a web browser and walk thru the setup wizard. This time write down all important information for safe keeping later on.

Re: RBR50 firmware update
Thanks, that worked. Both the RBK50 and RBS50 now have current firmware but the RBW30 will NOT install, after downloading, even using Manual upload.
