Red dot on router in network map
I have set up my new orbi and it appears to be working. However on the Network App in the app it has a red dot next to the Router, both Satelittes have a green dot. On the home page of the app it says the Internet is 'offline'.
Just wanting to understand why?
Not sure what this means as am connected to the Orbi WiFi with this computer and my phone is also working fine.

Re: Red dot on router in network map
Is the WAN (yellow) port on the Orbi connected to the internet modem, or one of the other ports?

Does the ref dot on the Satellite mean it's connected or not, its a simple question?
This question appears to be separate from the post that started this discussion. As far as I know, "Red Dot" on a satellite means "not connected". I am not as comfortable with the Orbi "app" as with the Orbi web interface. Open any web browser to http://orbilogin.net, log in with the Orbi admin credentials ("admin" and the Orbi admin password), and open the "Attached Devices" page. Satellites appear at the top.

The app has shown red since i owned this turd and would like to know its actually connected to the orbi that is hard wired connected to the wall/internet upstairs. I have low bars right next to it which gives me the impression it's not actually working.

Re: Red dot on router in network map
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Is the Orbi system operating in Router or AP mode?
