no signal on lan ports
Hello, I configured RBR50 first in router mode and later as wireless accespoint. In both configuration I got no signal on the Lan ports. Wifi is working well but the Lan ethernet ports don't work. Has somebody a solution?

Re: no signal on lan ports
Unlike typical PC's and ethernet switches which have tiny LED's that indicate connection and traffic, the Orbi LAN ports have no indicators. And, unlike Netgear Nighthawk routers, there are no LED indicators on the case showing ethernet traffic.
What device(s) are being connected to the LAN ports?
Have you tried a different ethernet cable?
What specifically is the indication that there is "no signal"?

Re: no signal on lan ports
The router is connected to netgear lan switch. I don't see any signal on the devices witch are connected to the switch (ps4, apple tv) and on the other lan channel their is netgear switch with two Imacs. On all the systems their is no signal. I connected my macbook straight to one port and their was no signal.

Just to validate potentially broken Ethernet ports on the Orbi: Most Netgear switches do have link and activity LED - which does indicate a link between the connected device/router and the switch. I would assume there is no LED indication on the links connecting the switches to the Orbi - correct?

Thanks for providing this. It appears (to me) that we have been discussing the wrong issue. i.e. are the LAN ports working or not? That is why we keep asking about LED's and the port statistics web page (RST_statistics.htm). The iMac is saying there IS a connection to the network because it says that ethernet is "active" (actief) and has received an IP address (192.168.1.20).
The question then is, "Devices connected by WiFi have internet access, but devices connected through the LAN ports do not, and why is that?"
Is the Orbi currently in "router" or "Access Point" mode?
Would it be possible to provide a diagram of how everything is connected, including the internet modem?

In Windows that is often down to security settings on the PC. Windows blocks access because it is protecting users from stuff that it does not know about.
Are Macs equally "helpful"?

So the iMac does get an IP config, and we can assume the physical networking, the ports are OK.
You might have configured Access Control in whatever way, e.g. as lined out in the Orbi User Manual, p.56, with "Allow all new devices to connect" or "Block all new devices from connecting." - so you might have to allow the device. Be aware that "device" can vary - for the router it's not the same if connected by WiFi or by Ethernet, due to the different MAC addresses.

Re: no signal on lan ports
What is the configuration:
- modem connectbox ARRIS TG249LG what is provided bij service provider which is connected to Router Netgear Orbi AC3000. Then the router is connected to a TPLink TL-SG105S Gigabit switch witch is connected with 2 iMacs
De modem was first a bridge modus and got the same issue. After that I asked the provider get him out of bridge and I configured de Netgear Router as an accesspoint. Still got the same problems.
What I didn't test yet:
what happens if I take out the TPlink switch
what happens if I connect ethernetcable directly in the lan port of the modem
