Re: 2016 MacBook Pro stay connected to Wifi but no internet bandwidth
This solution worked for me. MacBook Pro 2017 13 Inch. All the same issues and spoke to Netgear and Apple running every test.
There seems a direct compatibility issue. The compatibility issue lies between the MacBook Pro 5 GHz signal and the Orbi 5 GHz signal. To solve the issue I enabled the IOT network and gave it a specific Wi-Fi band selection of 2.4 GHz only. This allowed me to set up this MacBook Pro specifically on the wireless IOT network and force it to only use 2.4 ghz signal. Therefore leaving all my other devices to run on the main network and still having a guest network channel available.
