SSID broadcast

Hello

I've noticed an unknown SSID being broadcast when the RBE971 is online.  I did not initiate this and have disabled Guest network and IoT network.

The name is NTGRBH_9xxxxxxxxx

Any idea what this is and how to stop it broadcasting ?

Its the wireless backhaul. On prior versions the backhaul ssid was hidden. I didn't ever get a response on why they didn't do that on this version

Thanks for the fast response and clarification of this.  Would be great if one of the tech guys from Netgear could pick this up and fix it.

It's a known issue. Not sure if or when NG will fix it. They are ware of it.
