Best Utility for my Switches (ProSafe GS750E and ProSafe GS728TP)
I've been using a 28 port POE ProSafe GS728TP for some time for my home network and it has worked well for me until I needed more ports. I came across a deal on a ProSafe GS750E and added the much needed extra ports.
Anyway, is there a single control utility for both switches? It seems that there is the "ProSafe Plus Configuration Utility" that one will run on, but the other is on "Smart Control Center" and neither utility sees the other switch. It hasn't been too much of a hassle going to each individual IP address to manage them, but I'm trying to organize my network and would like to simplify things a bit.
Hi ARAMP1,
Welcome to the community! :)

There is no single utility that would work on both GS750E and GS728TP switches.
The GS750E switch belongs to the category of the Smart Manage Plus Switches of NETGEAR. Only the ProSAFE Plus Configuration Utility will work for all Smart Manage Plus Switches.
The GS728TP switch belongs to the category of the Smart Manage Pro Switches of NETGEAR. Only the Smart Control Center Utility will work for all Smart Manage Pro Switches.
However, you can manage both GS750E and GS728TP switches via its web-based GUI. Open two tabs on a browser (such as Firefox or Chrome) then enter the corresponding IP addresses of the GS750E and GS728TP switches respectively. To login, the default username and password are 'admin' and 'password' without the quotation marks.
