GS108Tv3 8-Port Gigabit Smart Managed Pro Switch - dropdown in connectivity speed when using zoom
Hi
I have a
GS108Tv3 8-Port Gigabit Smart Managed Pro Switch
When I use zoom the Switch drops down on connectivity speed form 1 GB to 100 mb.
The Switch is connected via LAN to the Computer.
That happens only when I use zoom - all other programs work well.
I have updated drivers, changed cables - the whole nine yards ...
Any help is happily received

It would help if you describe the network in more detail:
- Which components are involved?
- Where is the switch placed?
- What device is being used for Zoom and how is it connected?
- How is the change in switch speed detected? (LED on switch?)

This is totally a local network issue? (No internet connection? No router? No WiFi?)
Both the iMac and camera are connected to this switch?

There is an internet connection via Fiber Box 10GB Router
No WiFi is used
Both the iMac and camera are connected to this switch?
The Camera is connected to the iMac and the iMac is connected to the Switch

Sorry... I went off on a tangent because I did not realize that the camera is simply the audio/video part of the iMac configuration. (need more caffeine this morning!)
The problem is thus:
Fiber based ISP router --> GS108Tv3 switch --> iMac (and perhaps other devices)
Ordinarily, LEDs on the switch port connected to the iMac show Green & Green, indicating a 1GB connection. (page 42 of User Manual:
When a Zoom meeting begins (using a browser? the native Zoom app?), the right LED turns off, indicating a 100MB connection.
The question is thus, "What is causing the connection speed to drop?"
- The iMac has dropped to 100MB and the switch is correctly reporting the speed?
- Or, the switch has somehow determined that the iMac is now doing Zoom and has dropped the speed?
I suspect Voodoo. Would try to use a different Zoom method (app vs. browser, change browsers).

The strange thing is indeed: When the zoom meeting has been set up from another person - no problem. Only if I make the meeting
