Hi guys,
Under my ReadyCloud account I successfully discover my ReadyNAS device.
I then click manage and get ReadyNAs admin page.
However, I still can't see it in my ReadyCloud application I installed on my iPhone.
Please advise how do I add it to ReadyCloud app.
Thanks.

Hi Buildster,
You can only have one ReadyCLOUD/myNETGEAR account that has management access, which is the account that you used in joining the NAS to ReadyCLOUD. You can invite the other two users to access the shared folders via ReadyCLOUD. You may check this article on how to invite users to access the shares via ReadyCLOUD.

Re: Add ReadyNAS to ReadyCloud app
Welcome to the Community!
Have you joined the NAS on ReadyCloud through the Admin page? You should be able to get it to join under the Cloud tab.
If you have done this already, then checking your Network settings if the NAS can get to the Internet and that DNS server has entries (Use google DNS and your router).
Once joined, you should be able to see your ReadyNAS under the Home tab on the portal and also on your mobile App.
HTH

Re: Add ReadyNAS to ReadyCloud app
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I attached the screenshot from the Cloud tab of the Admin page.
I can see it says Internet Unavailable.
Is it the reason why RN is not displayed uner ReadyCloud?
Also, could you please advise or share a link where I could read how to configure RN to get the Internet access.
Thanks and Regards,

Re: Add ReadyNAS to ReadyCloud app
Hi Buildster,
Your NAS should be able to connect to the Internet automatically after you connect it to your existing network that has an active Internet connection.
If you have a working Internet connection but your NAS is still not able to connect to the internet, you can try assigning a static DNS addresses on the NAS. You can do that by logging in to the NAS admin page then go to Network. Click the gear icon of the interface that has an active connection (This interface is colored green), then go to Settings. On the pop-up window that will appear, you can go to IPv4 tab. You will see there the DNS entries. You may try adding your Google's DNS address (8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4) and your router's IP address on the DNS entries.

Re: Add ReadyNAS to ReadyCloud app
Hi,
I did it and now the Internet seeems to be avialable.
However, now when I retry to discover my ReadyNAs in ReadyCloud portal it can no be discovered.
Checked S/N many times and still no luck.
As you can see in my first message when the Internet was unavailable I could successfully discover it by S/N.

Re: Add ReadyNAS to ReadyCloud app
Hi Buildster,
What is the status of Service when you go to the Cloud tab? Both Internet and Service should have a green check so you can connect the NAS to the ReadyCLOUD.
Is the ReadyCLOUD On-Off slider, selected to ON?

Re: Add ReadyNAS to ReadyCloud app
Hi Buildster,
You may try leaving then rejoining the NAS to ReadyCLOUD. You may then check if the NAS can be seen on ReadyCLOUD web portal. You may do that by logging in to https://readycloud.netgear.com using your ReadyCLOUD account.
If you can see the NAS on the web portal, check if the NAS is detected on the ReadyCLOUD app on your iPhone.

Re: Add ReadyNAS to ReadyCloud app
Hi,
Could you please provide the steps or link where ReadyNAS rejoing process is described.
At the moment there is no devices under Manage tab and RN device is not discovered by its serial number.
Thanks

Re: Add ReadyNAS to ReadyCloud app
Hi Buildster,
You should be able to see the Leave button when you log in to the ReadyNAS local admin page then go to the Cloud tab.
Based on the screenshot you attached on post#7, the Internet is still unavailable. Can you check again the Internet and Service status when you go to the Cloud tab?

Re: Add ReadyNAS to ReadyCloud app
Hi Buildster,
If there are files stored on the ReayCLOUD user's home folders, those files will be removed as well. You do have an option though not to remove them. When you click the 'Leave' button, a pop-up window will appear and will ask you if you want to remove the home folders or not.

What will happen with the other folders?
(Buildster, Directors, Documents)
They aren't affected by leaving ReadyCloud (no data loss).
Only the home folders for the ReadyCloud accounts would be affected (and as @JohnCM_S has already said, you can choose to keep those folders when prompted).

Re: Add ReadyNAS to ReadyCloud app
Hi,
Does it matter if that RAdyNas was previously removed from ReadyCloud application?
Or I still need to the process advised by JohnCM i.e. clicking Leave button?
Thanks

Re: Add ReadyNAS to ReadyCloud app
I don't use ReadyCloud myself, so I don't recall whether accounts are re-created when you rejoin the cloud, or if you would need to redo them manually. I think permissions in shares would need to be redone.

Re: Add ReadyNAS to ReadyCloud app
Hi,
After re-trying I think my initial question should be praphrased a bit.
when I log in to readycloud.netgear.com portal or ReadyCLOUD app on mobile phone as user1@company.com I can see that syncing works. In other words if I create a folder on ReadyNAS I can that folder in ReadyCLOUD app as well. And that user1@comany.com can manage my ReadyNAS device.
However, I need another two users user2@company.com and user3@company.com to be able to manage that ReadyNAS device.
How do I assign this permission to that two users?
Thanks.

Re: Add ReadyNAS to ReadyCloud app
Hi,
As far as I understand ReadyNAS device can be managed from ReadyCLOUD only by one account (or email address).
(like on the attached screenshot)
However, if I want some user to have a specific shared folder to be displayed in their ReadyCLOUD app I should invite that user the way you advised.
Is that correct?
