Readycloud for Mac OS
I just purchased a macbook pro for work. I am not able to get readycloud to make it all the way through the installer.
It says installation failed when trying to install.
I am running Monterey version 12.1
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Readycloud for Mac OS
Does anyone have anything that may help me? I can't seem to find this problem anywhere else.
Had a buddy download on his Mac, installation failed as well.

Re: Readycloud for Mac OS
Welcome to the Community!
Can you post a screenshot of the error? This is for us to check if we need to file a bug, hopefully anyone on Monterey 12.1 will also post here.
Have you tried contacting Support or creating a case on your mynetgear profile as well?

Re: Readycloud for Mac OS
I have not filed a ticket or anything. I am an employee so do not have all of our admin info.
There are no codes. it just says installation failed.
Had out IT specialist try to install as well and he was unsuccesful. I had a buddy with a newer macbook try as well, his failed.

Re: Readycloud for Mac OS
If Possible an you share the old verison file. So we can use the the ready cloud as of now its difficult to work without the desktop client

Re: Readycloud for Mac OS
I have 2 tickets open about this topic asking if i can have a older version of readycloud for mac.
So far they let me know they are working on this issue.
They seem to not want me to have a older version of ready cloud.
And yes i got 2 mac's running on v1.6 and v1.7 but i dont have the installation file of this older ReadyCloud 😞
My other 3 mac's and a few other people i know try to install the newest version of ReadyCloud. That one seems to not go futher then Installation Failed.
i am sorry to let you all know this issue is already more then 3 weeks and so far no fix 😞

Re: Readycloud for Mac OS
So far i tryed out to repackage the old App into a PKG file so we can reinstall it but that seems to not work 😞
Inside Terminal i used commands to download from Anywhere and install anything but also that seems to not help.
i tryed this issue now on 7 macs with versions [11.4], [12.1] and [12.2.1] and on all these mac versions the latest Readycloud says Installation Failed.

Re: Readycloud for Mac OS
The app completes installation but I'm now getting a message that my fileserver is online but the VPN is disconnected. (See attachment) I think this might have something to do with M1 Macs as other employees are able to use the ReadyCLOUD app without any issues.
System:
MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021)
Apple M1 Max
macOS Monterey 12.2.1

Re: Readycloud for Mac OS
Please access and continue, if you still can't download it please let me know through PM.
So the issue not completing install is resolved for this build.
When using the ReadyCloud portal can you access the NAS?
Have you tried rebooting or reinstalling the app?

Re: Readycloud for Mac OS
I get the same, the app can't be trusted as Apple is unable to scan it for malicious code.
