Photos II not accessible from e-mail link.
I have a Netgear ReadyNAS Ultra 2 Plus (RNDP200U) connected to my router with a fixed IP (192.168.1.9). My router (ASUS RT-N56U) has uPnP enabled, and I've also setup port-fowarding to the ReadyNAS (192.168.1.9:8086).
On the Photos II Add-on Management page, then I click on diagnose I get one error which is "Fail to access Photos II (http://[my public IP address]:8086) from internet. (error=2). If you disabled automatic configuration of UPnP router, please make sure port 8086 is forwarded to the NAS.". However at the top of the Diagnose Result window, it also says, "OK: All connection tests from ReadyNAS Photos II to UPnP Router and photos.readynas.com site are passed." So I can't figure that one out.
Anyway, I decide to ignore that because no matter what I tinker with nothing makes a difference. So I just go ahead and send an e-mail to another person to access the shared folder. But that person, on clicking the link, is not able to access my router and gets a "time out".
I have rebooted by router and NAS but no difference.
Any solutions?

- Just when I thought I've tinkered enough.... there was just one more thing that I hadn't done - to set up port triggering in my DSL modem.
So, problem solved!
