Transmission error ...

Do you have another bittorrent client running?

You can also just try disabling the Transmission add-on to stop the service and then re-enabling it.

No other bit torrent running ...


I tried stopping and starting with no luck .. any other ideas ?

Also, when I click on "Transmission Interface" I get this message

403 forbidden

Unauthorized IP Address.

Either disable the IP address whitelist or add your address to it.

If you're editing settings.json, see the 'rpc-whitelist' and 'rpc-whitelist-enabled' entries.

If you're still using ACLs, use a whitelist instead. See the transmission-daemon manpage for details.

edit settings.json and take a look on whitelist
you should have

 "rpc-whitelist": "*",
 "rpc-whitelist-enabled": true,

All of super-poussin's add-ons end up in the webroot share.

I dont even know what that means :)

I actually just updated to the latest version and see that Transmission is actually stored in a share called "addons-config".

So, in Finder, browse to your NAS and look for either the "addons-config" share or the "webroot" share and navigate to Transmission\transmission-daemon\settings.json
