How to create an access point for Netgear N750 model number WNDR4300V2

I recently purchased a Google Home mini. In order to use Chromecast it needs an access point. I have no idea how to do that. Can someone help?

Says who?  Are you trying to follow some set of instructions or
other?  Care to share?'

The wireless stuff in a wireless router like a WNDR4300V2 _is_ a
wireless access point; it's just not usually described that way, to
avoid confusion with a device which is _only_ a wireless access point.

That was actually the recommendation from the Google Home Mini itself when trying to set it up. Am I supposed to buy another router and have one as an access point?

I didn't see what you were doing, or what, exactly, said what,
exactly, when you did what, exactly.  And what you said makes little
sense to me.  "trying to set it up" is not a very detailed description
of anything.

I doubt it.  Presumably, your WNDR4300V2 is working as a wireless
router (which includes a WAP).
