Not getting full speed through ethernet
Sami issue here. Just spent 3 hrs with Spectrum. All good on their end (verified by me). Reset router 2x. No difference. I still suspect the router. Might be time for something new.

Re: Not getting full speed through ethernet
What router do you have?
what modem is it connected to?
What speeds do you pay for?
What speeds are you getting?
Are you testing wired? Wireless? 2.4ghz? 5ghz?
Details are key and you didn't give us much to go off other than you're not getting full speeds that you expect.

Re: Not getting full speed through ethernet
Hi…
router is a 6400V2
modem is E31T2V1 (Charter Communications/ Spectrum ).. no idea of the mfr, doesn’t say, but it’s only about 9 months old.
I pay for 300, get 190-200 Mbps wired and wireless, 5G
I use Speedtest.net and Speedtest app,
spectrum worked with me on phone and tech out also. Can’t find anything wrong. He checked “neighborhood” lines, found no issues (of course).
and thanks for the reply
phil

Re: Not getting full speed through ethernet
Factory reset the router. During the reinstall, make sure to leave qos, access control, traffic monitoring, and parental controls all disabled.
then test the speeds.
