The DCHP page for the R6230 Nighthawk
Don't know if you guys bother with introductions but I'll say hello to all and get to the point so as not to waste time.
Ok, listen. I have a simple (I hope), question that will help me clean up and lay a proper foundation for the home server I'm putting together. I'd just read that most routers have a DCHP, or however it's called, that will tell me the location of all of my equipment on my network map. If this is correct please instruct me on where to find this information.
I am neither technical nor very smart so please dumb it down for me??
Thanks.

Re: The DCHP page for the R6230 Nighthawk
If you log into your routers attached devices page, it'll show you all the connected devices.
simply log in through the browser and click on attached devices.
There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.
Its a great resource to start with.
