Hi
I have a Nighthawk X6 R8000 and would like to connect a WNR2000v2 as a repeater unit to improve the wireless coverage. How can I do that? I've tried according to the manual but it won't work. Can someone give me a detailed instruction on how to do that?
Grateful for all help.

Welcome to the community, @arvlar
The R8000 does not support Wireless Repeating.
In order to successfully do Wireless Repeating, both routers should support WDS feature.
At this point, WDS is not present on the R8000.
You may run a long cable between the two of them to extend the wireless signal.

Re: WNR2000v2 router as a repeater unit
Thanks for the reply. So, if I connect the two with a cable I can start up a new wireless network from the WNR2000. Should I use settings as an AP or router (I guess AP, or?).
