Delete the Time Machine file on a Stora
I like to completely restore my Store to facture setting. After following different instructions I have format the disk and set the firmware to default.
But if I check disk size only 500Gb is available. I think this is because I have used the rest for Time Machine on a Mac computer.
How do I delete this?
Hope for a quick answer.
Brian

Re: Delete the Time Machine file on a Stora
From the Stora GUI --> Preferences --> Computers Backup --> Uncheck the Enable box --> Submit --> then Wipe the volume.

Re: Delete the Time Machine file on a Stora
Try the above but I did find problems with residual data and orphened files left behind
if I do a factory reset on my Stora I would take out the drives and connect to a windows/linux box... from here I would wipe the drive and delete any partitions from the drive... (of course make sure all the data os backed up somewhere else first)
Factory reset the Stora and then install first disk and let it work its magic.. install the second and off you go... now restore the data from the backup
I tried the above once and when connecting to anther system I could still see some off files etc
