Remote login issue - help please
I set up stora at my home and I can login on the lan at mystora.com with no problem. I opened up ports 21 22 443 80 and have them forwarded to 192.168.0.7 which is the ip for my stora. I go to my office 16 miles away and go to mystora.com. I enter my login credentials and it says signing in then it defaults back to the login screen and never logs in. I have tried from other computers and have tried from other locations -no success. Any ideas?

Have you enabled remote login in preferences on the stora?

Re: Remote login issue - help please
If you use port forwarding, you need to access the stora with your IP, that is the IP that your ISP uses, not mystora.com. To find your Ip google "what's my IP". If its dynamic and changes every day, you have a problem. I have DSL and even though it's not "static" it changes only once every 2 or 3 years, or when the mac address connected to the modem changes.
Now,if xx.xx.xx.xx is your ip, in your browser address bar enter:
http://xx.xx.xx.xx?local=1 you should get the html interface to log in with.
or for ftp enter ftp://xx.xx.xx.xx you should then get login box to enter user name and password, and an ftp directory index.
or use an ftp client, like fire ftp addon in fire fox, enter your IP and hit connect.
A client will let you upload files to the stora. I use it and it works good.
You don't need port forwarding to use the mystora.com interface.

Re: Remote login issue - help please
Hi,
I've the same problems for a few months now.
It seems to be a problem with IE9, i've no problems when using IE8
I use the following workaround:
- first I login on http://[storaname].mystora.com
- It now says it's signing in but instead I'm redirected back to the login page.
- now, in the addressbar I go to http://[storaname].mystora.com/homebase (not https what is already in the addressbar)
- now I got the homepage of my stora.
Hope this helps.
