Netgear Gaming Issues
HELP. I cannot play Street Fighter V ranked without getting disconnected every 3rd match with the same error code (40002) without fail. I'm hardwired, I have port forwarded the suggested ports, changed my DNS, uninstalled/reinstalled, changed IP's, turned off IPv6 and changed my NAT type to open. This pc and my amazon fire tv are the only thing this router is connected to and nothing has worked. I've contacted Capcom support and they just told me to do all the things I just listed above (which I had already done). It has 0 issues with any other P2P fighting game, only Street Fighter. I have 0 idea what else to do, please help. AC1200 WiFi Router (R6220)Most online devices not showing on on device list after router reboot
I did a reboot on my Orbi 870 system last night. Since doing this, on a few of my devices are showing on the connected device list on the router. I have around 30 devices connected to the system but only a handful are showing on the device list list the reboot. I have 3 satellites connected via wireless backhaul. All are showing a good connection. However all are showing IP's of 0.0.0.0. Has anyone come across this and have a solution?Cannot remove/block devices from admin web UI [RS300]
I just installed a Nighthawk RS300 wireless router. I enabled "Access Control" and I was able to put the MAC address + name in the list of allowed devices, however, with the admin web UI, I cannot remove any devices that are not already connected, and the other lists are extremely truncated. The firemware is "Router Firmware Version V1.0.5.22". I've entert 60 devices. Of those devices, 10 show as connected, only 2 show up as "allowed and not connected" and only 2 show as "blocked and not connected". There are 46 entries that are totally missing.133Views1like4CommentsStrange Warranty
I bought an AXE7800 at the end of last year. It worked well for several months until last week I lost internet connection (the Internet LED was solid amber). I tried power cycle my cable modem and the router for many times and it did not work. So I switched to another router and it worked well. I contacted Netgear service and ask for RMA. After asking me a few questions they just told me that my router was good and provide no explanation. If I need more information, I have to pay first. Not sure if this is NG's warranty policy. It sounds ridiculous to me. I have used NG products for more than 15 years but probably will be no more.WAX625 | No firmware 12.5.0.12 inside Netgear Insight list
Hi, On Jan 6, 2026, 10:02 PM PT, I received alert from Netgear Insight Alert (via e-mail) that new firmware is available: WAX625/WAX628 Firmware Version 12.5.0.12 I am interested in installing this firmware as it supposedly fixes issues with random reboots and I was experiencing something similar where device just locks itself and all SSIDs become unavailable and the only remedy was power restart. Those power restarts are not trivial for me because WAP is PoE powered and high up on the wall. I was forced to buy a timer which cuts out power to the whole network rack including main router (fw) and WAX625. I went into the Netgear Insight > Firmware > Set Target Firmware (upper right corner) to find this firmware 12.5.0.12 and it is not on the list. The latest I see is 11.8.0.9 which appears to be also the one I have installed and the latest one listed on the product page: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/wax625 So, I am wondering what is going on here? Why did I get this e-mail when the firmware is not generally available for install? Thank you!Unable to update Readynas Pro 6 to OS6

I have a CM1100 that started having issues today. It will not connect to my router. It will, however, connect directly to a laptop. My setup is: ISP -> CM1100 -> Router/Firewall -> APs & Switches But the link between the CM1100 and Router/Firewall doesn't work. If I change things up: ISP -> CM1100 -> Laptop Everything works just fine. It does not matter which port I connect to on the CM1100. Here are my troubleshooting steps: Power cycle the modem and Router/Firewall Check the coax connection on the CM1100 Try both ports on the CM1100 Try different WAN ports on the Router/Firewall Try different cables with steps 2 and 3 Connect my cellular modem to the Router/Firewall and verify that internet works on both WAN ports Try different cables between the cellular modem and Router/Firewall Try a new Router/Firewall on the CM1100, repeating steps 2, 3 and 4 Pick-up a modem from my ISP and verify it works with both Router/Firewalls So, I'm at a loss as what to do next. No matter what I do, I can't connect to the CM1100 through a Router/Firewall, only directly. Has anyone experienced this?40Views0likes7CommentsCan't login to M4300 since 12.0.19.15 firmware update
Hello, I just updated two switches M4300-28-POE+ to 12.0.19.15. I go to the IP address of the switch It has the AV UI login and the Main UI Login - I can log into the AV UI login but NOT the Main UI login which is the one I need. It goes to this site can't be reached. I reload no luck. I rebooted the switches - no luck. I tried another browser - no luck. I tried incognito mode, no luck. There is no firewall or antivirus blocking it. It worked fine until the firmware update. Short of resetting the switch to factory defaults which probably won't fix it, any suggestions other than applying an older firmware?250Views1like3CommentsCan't access Web Interface on M4300 after Firmware update
Switch was working perfectly fine, noticed that the firmware was out of date. Updated firmware to latest version, 12.0.17.16. After the switch finished rebooting, I'm no longer able to access the web interface. Switch still appears to be functioning, can ping it over the network and other machines are communicating with the switch. Called Netgear and they suggested manual reboot (which will be done soon - unfortunately switch is located in a remote office with nobody present at the moment), and they said if manual reboot didn't work I'd have to do a factory reset. Anybody else experience this upon updating to newest firmware? Any other suggestions?1.3KViews0likes4CommentsRBR850 not adjusting daylight savings time for Australia / Adelaide timezone
Settings under Administration > NTP Settings. Doesn't matter which NTP server is being used. Works and adjusts DST correctly for the Brisbane / Sydney / Melbourne timezone and others work correctly. The router doesn't seem to know that the Adelaide / Darwin (GMT+930) timezone also has a daylight savings time that should be applied.
