Re: A6210 new mediatek driver
This driver seems redundant if I have A6210 Netgear genie installed.
I ran a Driver Genius scan and this driver (Mediatek RT2870 Wireless Lan Card Driver) popped up to install.
Which I did (is that an oops?)
Do I need it? is it need for my A6210 adapter?
I had a A6200 adapter and this Mediatek Lan Card driver never popped up then.
So this driver is indeed necessary OR I can uninstall it - yes?
Thx

Re: A6210 new mediatek driver
Hello Sethm1
It shouldnt be needed if you have the netgear drivers so its up to if you want to keep it or not if its not causing any issues then I wouldnt worry about unistalling it.

Re: A6210 new mediatek driver
Thanks.
Uninstalled.
Doing so did 'break' (probably not the right term) my Adapter - but a reinstall fixed it.
take care/

Re: A6210 new mediatek driver
Oops- meant to add another question (though off topic) - DO I need the A6210 Genie to sit in the Start Up Folder (Start icon/ All Programs/Startup) ?
