Cannot find 5Ghz Network
Hi all,
I recently bought the Netgear A6200 Wifi USB Adapter to connect my PC with the WiFi. The connection with the 2.4Ghz Network worked quite well. But the 2.4Ghz network ist not very stable. That's why I prefer the 5 Ghz network. But somehow the USB Adapter can not detect the 5 Ghz whereas my phone has a connection with 4-5 bars.
Does one of you have any idea what the problem could be?
Thank you for your help.
Regards
Thelittleone

Re: Cannot find 5Ghz Network
Try changing the channel number of the 5ghz network. I had the same problem with Ch 157 then changed it to ch 44 and bingo it appeared and works fine. Good luck

Re: Cannot find 5Ghz Network
Had the same problem, but got it to work with this download i found in the forum: ftp://downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/A6200/setup-V1.0.0.30-signed.zip
It seems that Netgear unfortunately removed this driver from the downloads, since it caused troubles for some users 😞
good luck!
