Downloading software/setup for Wireless AC600 Adapter

I bought a AC600 Adapter. When trying to download software on my laptop I get the message "Verify you have access to that directory." It will not let me continue download.

Model: A6100|AC600 WiFi USB Mini Adapter

Where are you getting the software? This is the best place:

Is that where you are having problems?

I bought the adapter at Walmart and have tried using the cd that was included as well as online and neither has worked

What does that mean?

You cannot download the software?

You cannot run the program you retrieved?

You can run it but it fails?

Any error messages you can share?

It might help if you provided the information that Netgear suggests in this forum:

Subject (Include model number and brief summary)
Model (Recommended - Helps the community give the best answers)
Body (Include additional detail including model version, firmware, OS and environment where relevant.)

Cannot run the software. When it gets to the end of the setup portion I get the error "Verify you have access to that directory".

That sounds like something to do with your (unknown to us) operating system. Not much that the Netgear software can do about that.

If it is Windows, trying running the installer as Administrator. If it is a Mac, then you'll have to consult that community.
