NETGEAR A6210 Always google review before you buy!
I have been putting up with disconnects for around 4 months now. I have no idea where my receipt is, and the **bleep** cost me around $100.00 AUD.
After googling, I have discovered MANY people experience the same thing, however no solid solution for a fix.
Disgusting product.

Re: Always google review before you buy!
Hi JBrander7,
May I know what is the model number or Netgear device you have?
And provide us brief explanation of the issue you are experiencing.

NETGEAR A6210 WiFi Adapter.
There are plenty of complaints in the forums regarding this device. If my WiFi doesn't drop out, it is absolute sluggish. I have to pull it out of 3 different USB 3.0 slots or standard 2.0 slots and put it back in so it can reset itself and run like normal. For 10minutes up to an hour.
Anything else?

Hi JBrander,
1. Do you have a Windows 10 OS?
2. What is the software version of your adapter?
3. Can you try to install it on a different computer and check if the same issue?

It's really comforting to see them not reply...

Re: Always google review before you buy!
I had similar experience when I got A6200. Now it is working fine. Latest driver seems to be working well. Your being newer, hope it'll work
well sooner or later.

Hi JBrander7,
Do you have other devices that works fine with your wireless network? If yes, what are those devices?

Re: NETGEAR A6210 Always google review before you buy!
The amount of devices connected at any times to the wireless router would be 3 maximum. But I have tested this and it's still dropped out being the only device.
I have only ever see ln the connection speed at 300mbps once. Otherwise it's around 144.

Dont ever be fooled by the displayed "connection speed" as it rarely has any bearing on actual performance.
I also have the 6210 and it makes my PC freeze up, requiring a reboot. So I'm in a similar boat with this substandard product. My old Belkin works. Slowly, but reliably.

Re: NETGEAR A6210 Always google review before you buy!
For me Windows 10 is a piece BLEEP but not the device, I installed it on my dad's Win 10 HP envy 13 witch has a really **bleep**ty inboard wifi card and it improved far better the bandwidth. From 6Mbps to 45Mbps not bad and nearly no disconnection. I even tested on a 350 Gb folder (I have to waste some time ) and it did it!

Re: NETGEAR A6210 Always google review before you buy!
Still no fix.
Absolutely frustrating, no money to buy a new one. Too many commitments.
Come home from work to unwind, oh look disconnections. Well done.
