Re: Need to replace old linksys adapter with compatible NG one for my R8000 router

I just switched routers and modems from Linksys to NG and now have a nice Nighthawk R8000 but completely forgot my desktop still has a Linksys AE2500 wireless adapter from ages ago. It's working ok so far and the desktop is running Win7 but will soon be upgraded to Win10.
I'm assuming, for several reasons, I really should upgrade the adapter. What's the best NG adapter to compliment the R8000 on a 9yo Dell desktop?
TIA - cybergrrl

You can update the adapter if you want. But if its doing everything you want it to, it isn't necessarily needed.
