Netgear AC1200

Hi, just installed Netgear AC1200, but my old Netgear wna3100 USB adapter seem unable to see it. My mobile phone can see it so it does trasmit ok and the adapter can see other wifi network but not the one that goes via the AC1200. Any idea on how to solve it ? Thank you

Thank you Blanca, all solved, for some reason I had to authorize the wifi guest and then they both became visible. Best

How far is the adapter from the router? What is the Operating system of the computer? 

Was this working before with your old router?
