When you access the humax server with filezilla (or other ftp clients) what folders are you seeing? That should help you sort out the path.

Hi all,
After some long testing and trying and sad enough failing, I think I've found what causes the issue.
FileZilla and some other FTP-clients I've tried the last couple of days are able to logon to the Humax.
Then show /media as current directory, they try to list the directory but this fails in PASV mode.
Then they switch to ACT mode and succesfully change directory and therefore find directories with stuff..
It seems the FTP-client build in ReadyNAS OS 6.6.1 isn't capable to do that switching to ACT mode.
It finds a silly empty directory and is either amazing fast in connecting and backing up NOTHING from the sub-directories or just pops up that more then annoying error thingy..
I'm going to file a bug report/feature request to Netgear so they can properly look into this and hopefully fix it in a future release of Ready NAS OS.
Thx for trying to figure things out!

Is the Humax restricted to active mode to preculde downloading from outside the local network? I would think you'd want to go the other direction -- get Humax to allow pasive mode.

I agree. At the very least, you should file a bug with them too. A lot of people do want to put their IoT type devices into a protected segment of their network, and providing active-mode only is a barrier that makes it harder to do that.
