NTI Shadow problems

The version of NTI Shadow including on the Duo setup CD is NOT compatible with Win 7. Netgear does not offer a Win7 solution for buyers of the Duo/NV+.

My recommendation would be to purchase a copy of Syncback+ or Pro. Its far more capable than NTI Shadow could ever dream of and for a very reasonable price you get a license to install on up to 5 PC for HOME use. http://www.2brightsparks.com/help/index ... article=27

Shadow is not a well written app. Simplify your life and change to a better backup app. Also one that supports copying open/in use files which will improve reliability of your backups. I like to keep it simple and use apps that have a good reputation and have proven themselves time and time again. Also apps that aren't as big as an operating system!

Look at Syncback SE or Pro. A little cumbersome to setup, but worth it. They just released V6 which may have a better setup wizard. Haven't jumped on board yet.
