ReadyDLNA - List is not updated
Hello,
I got my ReadyNAS NV2+ v2 since several years now.
My Media folder (c:\media) where I got all my videos has ReadyDLNA feature enabled.
Now at the same time, I got my second smart-TV, and once again the list of the files I got in the NAS is basically never updated: list of files, new files, folders, etc. it's like it's a snapshot from one time in the past.
So I went to the ReadyNAS settings, turned ReadyDLNA off and back on, and now it's even worse: there's no videos at all found anymore.
Am I missing something in the settings?

Have you tried rebooting the NAS? or setting up a static IP for the NAS? Is the NAS on the latest firmware?
I had a Smart TV before wherein it's not seeing the Share but then after a few minutes it automatically refreshed and the DLNA share appeared.

Hello Marc and thank you for taking the time to answer.
I've got this equipment since 9 years now and restarting it doesn't fix it. Firmware is updated to the latest version yes.
It's already with a static IP address.

Have you tried accessing the DLNA server with a different client? For instance, VLC on a PC or Mac.
