ReadyNAS 214, Model RN21400, cannot power on, Display: do_exit+4dB
Hello to the Netgear Community!
I use ReadyNAS 214, Model RN21400 for my Busness and Home Network.
After a firmware update to 6.10.3, when I shut down the system I cannot power on.
The display shows "do_exit+4dB" and I have to force poweroff to boot again.
I have seen that there isn't any newer update solving the problem.
From some posts concerning similar problem I didn't find the solution for this malfunction.
Please, is there is any suggestion from the official Netgear since there is no newer firmware update?
Thank you for your time!

Actually there is - 6.10.4 has been released, and it can be downloaded from https://kb.netgear.com/000062588/ReadyNAS-OS-6-Software-Version-6-10-4
Not sure if that will resolve it, but it is worth a try. You extract the binary from the zip file, and then manually install it from the system->settings page in the admin web ui.

The NAS is crashing at this location - which is not a good thing.
Do you have any apps installed?
If you don't want to try upgrading to 6.10.4, I suggest overinstalling 6.10.3. This is done using the same process I outlined above, but you get the firmware from https://kb.netgear.com/000061727/ReadyNAS-OS-6-Software-Version-6-10-3.
Whichever you try, you should download the full log zip file from the log page on the web ui, as it might give some clues. Though the crash might not be logged (crashes often don't show up there).

StephenB, thank you for your reply!
I tried to update through the device software and it didn't find any newer version.
I do not have any apps installed.
I will try to upgrade according to the procedure you suggested to me and I will
inform you about the result.
Thank you very much for your help and your time!

Do you have any suggestion about that change?
I will update to 10.6.4 anyway!
Than you again for your help!
