Unable to set share quota on ReadyNAS 214 running 6.10.4 hot fix 1

Hello,
I am unable to set the quota for a share that I created. When I check the box to enable a quota and specify an amount, whenever I click OK or Apply, the dialog simply changes the Size label to red, as though there is an error, and does nothing. No other message is given.
I have tried:
- Speifiying different amounts
- Specifying in MB, GB, and TB
- Deactivating the Bit Rot Protection and Auto-Defrag options
- Using different browsers
But the behavior remains the same. I also made sure that I have sufficient space available (trying to set a 640 GB quota on a volume with 3+ TB free) and that the existing content of the volume does not already exceed the quota I am trying to define (trying to set a 640 GB quota on a share where only 3.9 GB is already used).
Any suggestions would be welcome!
Thank you

If quotas are not already enabled for the volume, setting a quota for a share is supposed to prompt you and let you know that setting a share quota will enable quotas for the volume. Perhaps somethine is amiss there. Try disabling and re-enabling volume quotas, or just manually enable them if they aren't already.

Note you are trying to set quota for a share, and not a volume.
I'm not having any trouble with setting a 640 GB quota on a test share on my own NAS running 6.10.5 firmware. What firmware are you running?
Can you try creating an empty test share, and see if you can set the quota on it?

I checked that on my RN102 (6.10.5), and I did get the prompt.

Don't know what was amiss, but disabling volume quotas and re-enabling first volume then the share quota seems to have fixed it.
Thank you for the suggestion, @Sandshark !

That's great. It was partially a guess. But others have reported funny issues with quotas that are fixed that way, so I figured it was worth a shot.

I agree it is worth disabling/reenabling volume quota.
