Jun 08, 2011How to setup mySQL and PHP on an Ultra 2
Just bought an Ultra 2 (RNDU2220) system (2x2TB) and wonder after browsing through the board which add-ons and Debian packages to combine for PHP/SQL + phpMyAdmin.
Is there any "best practice" known?
Cheers,
Helmut

To turn on MYSQL you can use this add-on: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=22853
Then you'll need to install a PHP add-on e.g. WhoCares's PHP 5.2 add-on: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=35881
Then the PHPMyAdmin add-on: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=22713 - Retired_MemberGreat - thanks! Will try it.
What I like as well , as there is an option to return to factory settings - just in case :-) - michelefacciniAspirantHi all,I'm running a WAMP server to develop my website and I'm doing a Lynda.com Essentials course on PHP and MySQL.Few months ago I installed PHP on my ReadyNas without working with it (I preferred working/learning first on the WAMP one)...actually I'm not able any more to access to my ReadyNas Ultra 2 Plus PHPMyadmin page : the login page comes out but when I digit my user name and password, I have a configuration error and no access....I tried also to set my ReadyNas MySQL as the one on the WAMP but the putty console doesn't accept the same command I successfully used on WAMP....some suggestions ?
