FVS318G v2 - Fails to upgrade firmware
Trying to upgrade to latest firmware FVS318Gv2_V4.3.4-1
1) Reboot FVS318G v2
2) Navigate to Administration > Settings Backup & Upgrade
3) Browse to unzipped image FVS318Gv2_v4.3.4-1.img
4) Click Upgrade button
5) Within 2-3 seconds page reloads with connection reset
I tried using Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome all browsers produce same results. Any ideas how to upgrade firmware?
Upgrading via TFTP client did not work. TFTP could not establish connection.
Solution was to upgrade firmware via Telnet client.
Please note, this method requires TFTP server (not client) to be running on a PC. Once this is set up, telnet into router and upgrade via "util firmware_upgrade image_name.img TFTP_Server_IP" command.
