NETGEAR A6210 WiFi USB3.0 Adapter not functioning correctly in usb 3.0 ports
Hello all,
Ive had this NETGEAR A6210 WiFi USB3.0 Adapter for about 6 months and have had no problems until recently. Last week I was unable to connect to any wireless network (or even detect them) at all, after checking the drivers and doing the basic troubleshooting I moved the adapter to the adjacent usb 3.0 port and it resumed working normally. This morning it stopped working in either usb 3.0 port and now only functions in the usb 2.0 ports.. All troubleshooting claims the adapter and usb ports are workinf perfectly ( I have tested the Usb 3.0 ports and they do work with any other device besides the WiFi adapter).
Any Ideas as to the cause of this strange interaction?
Im on a Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 OS , ASUS M5A78L‑M/USB3 motherboard..
Hi Revheat,
Is the adapter still being detected under the device manager?
Try to uninstall and reinstall the driver.

Sorry for the delay, I had unsubscribed from my post since I've given up on understanding this strange situation.. Ive uninstalled the device multiple times and used as many versions of the device drivers I can find..after an undeterminable amount of time the device will report no connections available while plugged into the USB 3.0 ports, though it functions normally while in a USB 2.0 port..I also make sure the USB 3.0 ports are still working properly with other devices..
I do not believe the adapter is at fault, it must be some kind of confilct in windows..
