2 Range Extenders
I purchased a 2nd WiFi Mesh Range Extender EX6250 because the 1st one worked so well. Very impressed. We placed one on first floor which gave us better wifi coverage upstairs too. And I purched a 2nd for the basement. But the Nighthawk App doesn't see two devices in the Network Map. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Re: 2 Range Extenders
Are they both connected and working?
If you log in through the browser do they both show?
Reason I ask is the app isn't always accurate

Re: 2 Range Extenders
Login to Netgear.com? I'm looking. I don't see a link in the menu to "My Devices" etc?

Re: 2 Range Extenders
I see it now under MyNetgear, but I only see 1 device. I have 3 green lights on my new 2nd extender. But there are 4 green lights on my 1st device. Not sure what I'm missing.

Re: 2 Range Extenders
which 3 lights are green?
I just mean log into your router through the browser. Not sure what router you have but it should have an online portal to change its settings.

Re: 2 Range Extenders
Yes, I only see one extender in my connected devices on my router. This 2nd one doesn't seem to be connected in my router. 3 solid green lights including the Router Link LED, but the light to the right is not on.

Re: 2 Range Extenders
The light to the right of the router link led is the client link led. It won't light up until something connects to the extender.
Have you connected something to it?

Re: 2 Range Extenders
I have no idea what that means. Can I speak to someone in customer support? Or should I simply return the device?

You can contact customer support if you want. this is the public forum
to contact support click "mynetgear" at the top. register an account and then the device. From there you can contact support. Keep in mind that its only free for the first 90 days from purchase date (if new).
