3000rp wpa aes
I've been trying to setup my WN3000RP on my home network and I am able to connect to my router, but for some reason the WN3000RP is not able to connect to the internet. I have my wireless security set up to use WPA AES (rather than TKIP that the 3000RP seems to want to use). If I connect to an unsecured network, then it connects to the internet correctly, but using my home network, no such luck. Could the AES vs. TKIP settings be what is causing the issue? Is there anything I can do to get it to connect without having to switch everything over to TKIP or WPA2?
Thanks,

access point to don't choose by itself. whatever you choose to use in your main router is what access point will identify and tries to connect.
have you try WPA2?
also can you ping the router with WPA-aes?
