AC1900 WiFi Range Extender drops connection to WiFi router intermitently
Bought my AC1900 couple of years ago. Up until the last two months it worked reliably with zero failures. Two months ago, there would be this random failure - dropping connection to the WiFi router (Verizon FiOS - FYI, router has not changed in the last 6 months - 1 year). I did upgrade to the gigabit Verizon FiOS connection at the beginning of the year. To resolve my issue, I had had to reboot the range extender AFTER rebooting the WiFi router. Rebooting the range extender alone would not do the trick. In all cases, the WiFi router was working fine - could connect to it and receive broadband service to devices. Any thoughts on what is going on? Thanks Tony

Have you tried to factory reset the extender by holding the reset button for 10+ seconds then try to connect the extender to the router again?

Re: AC1900 WiFi Range Extender drops connection to WiFi router intermitently
I have this same problem... every few days, the extender loses its connection to the router. I have to reset the router to get it working again. its strange because when the extender loses it connection, i can still see full wifi bars on my laptop (and other devices) for the extender networks, but the laptop (and other devices) won't connect to them.
