Any way to set router NOT to look for internet access
I'm using the router out in the field and needing to just connect some wifi devices, Eventually the devices will connect to it, but it does it a lot faster when it's not looking for an internet connection. Is there any way to set the router to just act as a bridge, and forget the internet?

Have you considered building an "adhoc" wireless LAN?
If all you have are wireless devices and just need them to talk to one another there's no need to have the wireless router at all.
