Compatability
I currently have a Nighthawk X6, Powerline 1000 & Nighthawk X4 AC2200range extender. My initial setup consisted of he router and powerline but that didnt see to do what I wanted to do which was have a stronger signal in my lower level. I purchased the AC2200 thinking I could use that in conjuction with the existing setup but that doesnt seem to doing the trick. My question is do I replace the Powerline 1000 with the AC2200?

Re: Compatability
Hello MichaelNC
When you say stronger signal are you saying better wifi coverage or more speed?

Re: Compatability
I would say better coverage, speed is determined by your provider, no?

Re: Compatability
Hello michaelNC
Well when you use a extender via a wireless connection you can lose up to 50% of your speed when you are connected to that extender but if you are able to run ethernet to it and use it as a AP you would be fine.
