Create MESH using R7450 and R6900 routers?
I have 2 Nighthawk routers, an R7450 and an R6900, and want to set up a MESH network in my home. Can it be done with these two routers--I'd hate to have to buy more hardware. I have relatively easy capability to hard-wire an Ethernet cable between the 2 router locations. Thanks in advance.

Re: Create MESH using R7450 and R6900 routers?
Neither router is a "mesh" router.
You can set them with the same ssid (one in router mode, the other in access point mode) but they'll be "sticky" in that devices won't roam. They'll stay connected to 1 device until they loose signal or it becomes unusable. It be better to leave them with seperate ssids so you can choose which to connect to.
