I purchased a EX2800 extender some time ago. Had no issues setting up and using it. I recently upgraded to a newer router. I followed the usual and connected the extender through WPS with no problem. and I can see it on the available network list. Problem is when I try to log in it says my wi-fi password is wrong. It works fine if I log in directly, but not through the extender. It should be the same should it not?

If you set it up using the push button WPS option, factory reset the extender and set it up using the installation assistant.
To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
Here's a video of how to use the assistant.

Re: EX2800 log in
Glad you got it working!
Might be time to keep an eye out for a better extender. that's a pretty old/slow extender so if you're using it for more than IoT devices, its bottlenecking big time
