EX3700 wifi extender setup for iPhone
I am trying to setup an EX3700 device to extend my iPhone SE personal hotspot. I am able to do this using an android phone hotspot but it is not working with my iPhone. The EX3700 device is able to pick up the iPhone hotspot signal during the genie setup, but does not seem able to rebroadcast it. One suggestion I read online is to change the extender SSID to match the iPhone since Apple does not use the standard ascii character set for the SSID during the setup - is that a possible solution and if so, can someone help with the steps on how to do this? I am seeking either a way to configure this device to accomplish this, or confirmation that this device will not work using an iPhone as the wifi router. Thanks for any help.

Re: EX3700 wifi extender setup for iPhone
Hello Jlc28 - You may refer to page 22 of the user manual to change the (SSID) WiFi network's name. Curious to know the outcome!
