EX7000 Firmware Update failure version v1.0.1.78
Recently updated the firmware for my EX7000 and it was nothing short of a disaster. The update to the extender created an interference with my router causing it to sporatically lose connection. I tried troubleshooting...resetting the extender which in turn created another problem. I researched the Netgear oommunity and someone out there mentioned reinstalling the previous firmware- essentially backdating it. It worked- problem solved!

Re: EX7000 Firmware Update failure version v1.0.1.78
I had to revert to the previous update from v1.0.1.78 The problem was my EX7000 kept dropping connected devices. I have two of them connected to my xfinity customer supplied 1GB modem router having the same problem. I also have another network from xfinity where I supplied my own modem netgear C6300. I also have two EX7000 with version v1.0.1.78 running and is not having those issues. I don’t know why the xfinity modem can’t work with this version.
