Re: Ex7000 dont see an increase in wifi
What router are you using?
its the backbone of the system.
also, are you testing over 2.4ghz or 5ghz? 2.4ghz is much slower.
Something else to keep in mind is that standard extenders (not triband) drop throughput (speed) 50%. Reason why is they have to send and receive data from the router and then send/recieve from the device connecting to. And they can't do both at once. They're great at adding coverage to dead spots or spots with minimal coverage.
what speed do you get hardwired into the EX7000?

Re: Ex7000 dont see an increase in wifi
Extenders are really only going to help/increase speeds in area's where the router doesn't have coverage. Again, because of the throughput reduction extenders take.

Re: Ex7000 dont see an increase in wifi
a repeater is an extender.
Basically does the same thing.
To get the max speed, you could hardwire in the EX7000 via ethernet, powerline, or using a moca adapter and then run the extender in access point mode.
