If the network name changes will the extender pick it up?

 If I change the name of the wifi network do I have to instruct the extender or does it adjust automatically..?..

If you change the routers ssid/password, you'll need to reinstall the extender. 

Its pretty easy to do. 

go to netgear.com/support/  

type in your actual modem number and it'll take you to install guides. 

Simply factory reset the extender (push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on)

then you can start from factory and reinstall. pretty easy
