Is it possible to connect 2 WN3500RP extenders to further extend the Wifi reach in a 3 floor house
Quick Question. Is it possible to connect 2 WN3500RP extenders back to back to extend the reach of a Wifi Network in my 3 floor house. I have FIOS, 100MB internet speed and a Verizon FIOS Gateway. I connected one NetGear WN3500RP to extend the Wifi coverage. Works very well in the 2nd floor. however, still very poor in the 3rd floor. I thought I could buy another WN3500RP and connect them back to back, to even extend further. Did not see any support article for this. Is it possible? What is the process? would you have a Youtube link? If it does not worl, what would you advise? Pierre

It's not recommended to connect extenders back to back. Speeds drop by 50% through each extender, so clients connected to the second extender will see a 75% drop in speeds. Wiring the extenders to operate as Access Point is preferred. If you don't have Ethernet, then do you have coax? The FIOS Gateway should have a coax connector on it. It supports MoCA, which is basically Ethernet over coax. If you have coax to the other floors, then you can add MoCA adapters and connect the Wi-Fi extenders to them.
