I have an R7000 router and an EX7000 range extender. I am wanting to add another device to extend the network. My question is can I use an EX7700 (AC2200) with my existing setup (AC1900)? I appreciate that the extra wifi performance will only be achieved when a device is connected to the EX7700.
Is there a better option to extend my Wifi network without changing my R7000 router?
Thanks Netgear community for your help.

You can have more than 1 extender. I usually recommend people move to a mesh setup when they're needing more than 1 but it does work.
Just try not to daisy chain them or you can see performance issues.
Daisy chain: router---->extender----->extender
try for star:extender<-------router------>extender
