N150 Wireless USB Adapter
I cant get it to connect to my network on my 2nd home computer.
it comes up asking for security key and after I enter my password
it tells me my security key is mismatched. What am I doing wrong?
what is a security key? is it the same as my password?
I did say that it is picking up my network
also I no longer have a CD for installation but it was previously installed before at another location with same computer!
PLEASE HELP MY DAUGHTER IS GETTING ANGRY!!
she cant use it yet!

Re: N150 Wireless USB Adapter
FYI.. As future reference post your wireless adapter under wireless adapter and not under Extender...
http://forum1.netgear.com/forumdisplay.php?f=22
NO. Security key also called encryption key.
Password - Make sure you are not using router interface password, because it is not. There is separate key for this .
You need to login the router you have and need to find out. Most router will not allow to retrieve the existing encryption key under wireless setting area so if that the case you need update the encryption key (ex , WPA, WPA2) and update ALL wifi devices
It is more issues with not knowing the encryption key so would be less adapter issues
