N300 wfi range extender
I am trying to install extender. Used the installation assistant. Messed up the first time. Did the factory reset and now both the router and device LED is off. What do I do now? Is it now defective? Did I need to get a new one and try again?

Re: N300 wfi range extender
Did you make sure to hold the reset button for 10+ seconds? also have you tried to pair the router via WPS?

Re: N300 wfi range extender
I'm going to try 10 seconds. I only did it for 5 I think. Also the router I have is a Netgear N600 wireless dual band router. Model WNDR3400v2. Do I need to get a new router?

Re: N300 wfi range extender
Hi @Notatechperson,
Not required. Extender will work with this router. So, there is no need of changing your router.
