No network EX7000|AC1900 WiFi Range Extender
I've been trying the EX7000|AC1900 WiFi Range Extender, plugging it in and pressing the WPS button on it and then the router, and everything lights up like it should, but no network name shows up on my Wi-Fi connections. Nothing related to it whatsoever. I've tried resetting the router and the extender, but there is still no network for it. I'm using Windows 10 on my laptop, and it's a good, new laptop, so neither of those things should be an issue.
I know the device is functional because I've borrowed it from my mom and it worked at her place.
Can anyone offer advice?
Thank you in advance.

Re: No network EX7000|AC1900 WiFi Range Extender
1. what router are you using?
2. What firmware is on the extender?
3. You realize the EX7000 is a mesh extender? that means in mesh mode is uses the same ssid as the router does and devices automatically roam between it and the router? When setup using WPS, its default setup is using mesh. Onewifi is the name if you want to disable this function.
