PL 1000 not connecting
We are having trouble getting this thing to work. We are trying to extend Wifi to a detached garage. We follow the instructions and we tried plugging both the adapters next to each other, everything works, we can connect to the Wifi on our phones etc. But, as soon as we move the adapter to the garage and plug it in, we lose it all. The wiring is all on the same face so it shouln't be a wiring issue. Any ideas?

Re: PL 1000 not connecting
Not sure exactly what you're saying when you say "wiring is on the same face". Are you saying its on the same circuit?
How far away is this detached garage?
Powerline is sensative to distance, interference, gfci circuits, and arc fault circuits. Interference could be anything like cell phone charges, welders, air compressors, etc.
If they're working right next to each other, they're working as they should. Thats when you need to start investigating your other devices that cause interference.
